Rachel Bett

Rachel has been a valuable member of the Shiff & Company team since 2013. She was admitted to practice in 2019.
Rachel has a varied commercial practice, predominately advising and assisting clients in drafting and negotiating a range of commercial agreements, providing employment advice to employers and employees, including preparing and negotiating employment agreements and disputes, and advising entertainment clients in the various stages of developing, contracting, licensing and distributing films, documentaries and television series.
Rachel also has experience advising in relation to the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth), preparing privacy policies for corporate clients, and drafting and negotiating commercial leases.
Rachel understands the value of teamwork and clear communication, which has been derived from her sporting background. She works diligently to provide timely and practical advice to her clients.
In her spare time, Rachel is heavily involved as a coach and administrator at her local domestic and representative basketball associations and played senior basketball in the BigV state representative league for 10 years.
When she is not advising clients, or running around a basketball court, Rachel can be found chasing after her boisterous golden retriever, Kevin.
